Get To
Know Me.

I’m a bilingual (English and Russian) psychotherapist, supervisor, and educator with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, phobias, anger, chronic pain, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I’ve worked in both private practice and multidisciplinary clinics, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds—including those affected by motor vehicle accidents (MVA), workplace injuries, and life transitions.

Alongside my clinical work, I bring over a decade of leadership experience and three years of teaching at the post-secondary level, where I developed and delivered courses in organizational psychology. My approach blends evidence-based methods such as CBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy with creativity and compassion. I also provide clinical supervision and have completed advanced training in clinical supervision, CBT, trauma interventions, and working with LGBTQ+ clients.

As the Clinical Director of Exhale Psychotherapy, I’m committed to offering high-quality, ethical care while supporting the ongoing development of a strong, diverse team of therapists.

Practice Makes Perfect

Registered
Psychotherapist.

good to know.

I’m a bilingual (English/Russian) registered psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is calm, practical, and grounded in evidence-based methods like CBT and mindfulness. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where each person feels heard, respected, and empowered to grow.

In addition to my work in psychotherapy, I’ve taught university courses, written articles and books on psychology and personal development, and have several years of experience in business consulting. I’ve helped small and mid-sized companies improve team dynamics, communication, and stress management. I’m especially interested in how culture, creativity, and change affect our mental health—insights I bring into both therapy and consulting work.

Work Experience.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, I have worked as a psychotherapist in private practice and multidisciplinary clinics across Canada and internationally. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, chronic pain, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I have extensive experience supporting clients involved in motor vehicle accidents (MVA), WSIB claims, and EAP services, using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Approaches.

In addition to my clinical work, I have over 10 years of management experience and 3 years of teaching at the university level, where I designed and delivered courses in psychology and organizational behavior. I have facilitated therapeutic and psychoeducational groups focused on anger management, emotional regulation, and partner assault response. I also have experience providing clinical supervision and professional training for emerging therapists.

Education.

I hold two Master’s degrees in Psychology—one from BPP University in London, UK, and another from the East-European Institute of Psychoanalysis in Saint Petersburg, Russia (recognized as equivalent to a Canadian Master’s degree by WES). My academic background combines clinical psychology with psychology education, giving me a strong foundation for both therapeutic work and teaching.

In addition to my formal education, I completed a Diploma in Corporate Management and a Diploma in Elementary Education. I have pursued extensive additional training in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Beck Institute, Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy, Clinical Supervision (University of Ottawa), and programs focused on trauma, suicide prevention (ASIST), and working with LGBTQ+ clients (Positive Spaces Initiative).

My education reflects a commitment to lifelong learning and integrating diverse, research-based practices into psychotherapy.
